Richard is a Partner of E-CRM Solutions. He is also the non-executive Chairman of Innovantage a business intelligence company and a non-executive director of Innovecom a computer networking company. He also does business and marketing consultancy.

Previously he was Managing Director of Person to Person Services Ltd. a major face-to-face fundraising company for charities and before that a Partner & Director of R. P. M. Business Strategies & Solutions, providing implementation consulting in IT, EBusiness and marketing. Clients included AAH Pharmaceuticals, Northern Ireland Electricity, Royal & Sun Alliance and Willis.

He has been involved in a £20 m. MBO and was responsible for launching Royal Insurance's direct writing subsidiary (now MORE TH>N) and, as chairman and managing director, developing the business to over 600,000 policies and £16 m. profit in 7 years.

He has 30 years experience with a range of well known and publicly listed companies at main board level including American Express Card Division, Citibank Savings, Oriel Group plc and Welbeck Finance plc - which, as Marketing Director, he helped to develop from £2.1 m. to over £21 m. profit in under 5 years.

Richard has been a Member of Council for the DMA, is a founder member of The Institute of Direct Marketing, has been a lecturer and external examiner for the Diploma of Direct Marketing and helped to develop The Telephone Preference Service. Richard has a Masters in Marketing Management from Warwick Business School and a Diploma in Management Studies from Brighton University. He is a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing and Fellow of The Chartered Management Institute and The Royal Society of Arts. Richard also helped to found Small Business Focus, a not-for-profit organisation where membership is open to all organisations having less than 100 staff within the B&NES area.

Richard has spoken at a range of conferences and seminars, including the International WWW Conference where he and Atanas Kiryakov gave a paper on Scalable Semantic Web Technology for Recruitment Intelligence.

Andy Fuller

Andy is a Partner of E-CRM and a graphic designer. Andy specialises in design for print and the web including: corporate identity and branding, advertising, direct mail and packaging design via our partner company Designbull.

Previously he was a Designer for Mason Zimbler Advertising in Bristol and was involved with bluechip advertising and direct mail campaigns including Lloyds TSB, MessageLabs, Toshiba, Roland, and Microsoft.

With over 10 years experience as a graphic designer working for design and advertising agency’s throughout the South West, has gained a wide gamut of design skills from traditional lettering and typography design to online web design.

He has acheived a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design and Business Studies and he also lectures at Bath College, teaching emedia and publishing courses to National Diploma students.

David is an Associate of E-CRM and the founder and Director of our partner company DWP.

DWP manages and develops reputations whilst clearly demonstrating a Return on Investment (ROI) to a clients business. When required, dwp also provides clients with specialist teams equiped with senior experience of developing and implementing communication strategies for some of the UK’s biggest business and corporate brands.

David has always had a strong interest in demonstrating the value of public relations. In 1998, he was awarded a BA (Hons) Degree in Public Relations and Media from The University of Exeter, where his final year dissertation assessed the most appropriate ways to evaluate public relations; the findings of which were subsequently featured in PR Week.

David is a member of The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the UK’s leading public relations industry body. Amongst other things, the CIPR membership demonstrates that David adheres to the CIPR Code of Professional Conduct, providing professional recognition of services offered to clients.

Prior to establishing DWP, David worked for agencies based in Bath, as well as three years working for Top 50 Independent PR Agency, Lawson Dodd Communications Management, where he managed a number of high profile clients. During his time at Lawson Dodd, he also managed a CSR campaign that was a finalist in the 2001 IPR Excellence Awards.

From 1999-2003, David was also a freelance writer for the Financial Mail on Sunday, writing on business and employee issues such as credit control, cash flow, export, mentoring and work life balance.

Previous and present clients include the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), West Cornwall Pasty Co, BDO Stoy Hayward, Norwich Union, Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services, Fortis Commercial Finance, Factors & Discounters Association (FDA), Chelsea Building Society, Pearl Assurance, AMP and Fascia Graphics Limited.

Nigel Marriott

Nigel Marriott is an independent consulting statistician and an Associate of E-CRM and runs our partner company Marriott Statistical Consulting. He has over 16 years’ experience of using statistical thinking and methods to solve all kinds of business challenges around the world.

The breadth of Nigel’s experience is highly unusual in any profession but particularly for a statistician, who tend to specialise in particular fields.

He has worked with research, purchasing, finance, sales, trading desks, marketing, product design, quality, engineering, manufacturing, IT and science laboratories, so that Nigel is fluent in many varieties of technical English.

Nigel defines how he helps organisations into three broad areas.

Consulting - There are two kinds of quantitative challenges that business face; maximising the insights from all the data that a business possesses and then making good decisions based on these insights and data. Regardless of the problem, Nigel will always first seek to understand the larger business context that the technical issue fits into. His goal is always to generate insights and develop decision making tools that can be understood and used by a wide audience and will endure in the organisation long after he is gone.

Training - Nigel has 9 years experience of designing and delivering economics, statistics & IT training courses for people working within Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Finance, R&D, Science & Manufacturing roles in the UK , Europe, China , Thailand and Australia . Whilst working for Mars Inc, his courses were seen as the role model for training courses within the company globally. Feedback from course participants consistently notes his ability to make statistics exciting and relevant to their jobs. At the same time his gift for keeping things simple and easy to understand is much appreciated by audiences whose first language was not English or who have been fearful of anything involving maths.

Nigel is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and was accredited by the society as a Chartered Statistician in 2003. This is an assurance that he has significant practical experience in addition to professional qualifications. He achieved his MSc in Applied Statistics at Birkbeck College , London in 1997 where his main project presentation is still regarded as “the gold standard that all students should aspire to” by the Statistics department.

Before taking the plunge as an independent consultant in 2006, Nigel worked for 3 organisations, ED&F Man Lp, Mars Inc and Sense.

Sarah is a Associate of E-CRM and has been a senior strategic planner and researcher for over 15 years.

Sarah was Client Services Director for Brann (now EHS Brann), one of the top 3 direct marketing agencies in Europe, where she was responsible for the strategic development of major clients such as DHL Worldwide Express, RSPCA and Barclays Bank.

More recently she was a Board Director of WWAV Bristol (an Omnicom agency), responsible for the strategic planning & research on all major clients ranging from Gala Group, British Red Cross and Western Union International Financial Services. This work was both UK and international.

Sarah specializes in qualitative market research and strategic planning. Recent clients have included:
